Spring Self-Compassion Class

Join Becky for a four-week deep dive into the art and science of being kind to yourself. She’s been teaching mindfulness for over a decade, so she knows how to make "science-backed" feel fun, easy, and life-changing. Whether you’re a total beginner or a long-time practitioner, come exactly as you are.

What do I need to bring?

Your favorite notebook and your comfiest clothes. We’ll provide the handouts and the headspace.

 

Is this Therapy?

No, but it is therapeutic! While this class is deeply healing and often recommended by therapists, it is an educational experience designed to empower you with tools to handle whatever life throws your way.

 

What exactly does the course cover?

Becky will teach the three pillars, or steps of self-compassion: mindfulness, common humanity, and self-kindness. She will use meditations, stories, research-backed exercises and discussion to help you incorporate key principles into your life.

 

How does this course benefit my life?

Researchers have proven again and again the positive benefits of mindful self-compassion. Those who practice it experience a decrease of anxiety and depression symptoms and an increase in health and over-all life satisfaction. If you have ever felt burnt out or overwhelmed by your emotions or your negative self-talk, this class will guide you through owning your emotions and taking care and taking charge of yourself in a curious, caring and kind way.
